Interior redesign is a new decorating philosophy. We believe that all the elements of a well-designed space already exist in your home. We are trained to see your furnishings in relationship to the room's architecture, traffic paths, color, and unique individual style. BEFORE REDESIGN:Client wanted to "warm up" the entry area. Glass and stone with snow print in background communicated a 'cold' look.

AFTER REDESIGN: Sunday Morning added an area rug, wood table, greenery, and lighting to warm the entry area. The stone table was used as a sofa table.

Interior ReDesign:

Our homes can provide the optimum environment for each segment of our lives -- uncluttered work spaces; areas to successfully entertain our family, friends, and business associates; and safe havens to unwind and de-stress.

Some people may choose to hire an interior designer and start over. There is another option! You have spent considerable time and money collecting your furnishings and accessories and may simply desire a fresh new look. All it takes is one day, and you don't have to do any of the work.

The ultimate goal is "comfort." Scale, balance, color, lighting, and accessories are simply tools to achieve that goal. We begin by discussing your lifestyle, your family activities, how you entertain, how you collected or acquired your furnishings and which are most meaningful to you; which areas of your home are not working well for you. If you are seeking to update tired or outdated upholstered pieces, we'll discuss possible fabric choices, give recommendations for resources, and create a plan to integrate those pieces into the redesign.

Redesigns are accomplished in just one day -- up to four rooms. The rooms are cleared of all furniture, artwork, and accessories in order to better see the basic structure. Furnishings are then replaced in layers until the room is complete. You then have a completely new looking room. Clients often cannot believe that it is their own things because their home looks so different and "pulled together." Prices begin at only $250 per room -- or less than the cost of a side chair.

Hourly Consultations:

You may be a more "hands on" person and want to do the actual work yourself. But, you'd like to discuss your ideas, color choices, layout, fabric selections, etc. Consultations are available on an hourly basis. We'll discuss your problem areas and arrive at a solution together. And, you'll be provided a summary of the discussion for later referral.

Consultations are $75 per hour and usually last one to three hours.

Move-in Furniture Placement:

Changes occur in our lives. A career move can mean a relocation. Or, you may be upgrading to that much needed or deserved larger home. Many of us are at the stage in life where we are selling the larger home and scaling down to something a little more manageable. Our services are available for basic consultation to complete move in.

Let us make your transition less stress free with fewer interruptions to your professional and family life. If your move should require the purchase of additional pieces, we'll help you develop a floor plan, budget, and time frame for purchases.

Combining furnishings from two separate homes can be stressful to a relationship. Let us integrate it all for you in the best possible design for your new lifestyle. We'll help you make the decisions on what to keep and what to sell or store.

Free Tips:

  • You update your wardrobe regularly with new accessories. A few new pillows and accent pieces can also freshen the look of your home.
  • Plants help a room come alive, but only if they are healthy and luxuriant. If your thumb is as brown as mine, purchase high quality imitations.
  • You do not have to use your home according to the builder plan. Why waste space with a formal dining room if you don't entertain. Use your home to its full advantage, according to your lifestyle.
  • Buy artwork and accessories because you love them. There should always be room to add to your collections.Rotate accessories, if necessary.
  • Every room should have some touch of whimsey! Taste is not synonymous with price. You can have a beautiful, well-designed home on any budget level.

A life-long study of interior design has enhanced her skills and she has continued that study, adding the basics of Feng Shui to help balance your home for true living.
